Store Rebrand Concept

Brand Identity

Forage & Found is a new concept store based in Bournemouth, combining locally sourced artisan products with a beautifully curated selection of vintage clothing. When they approached me for branding, the brief was clear: something timeless,
tactile, and quietly confident a visual identity that could live on linen tags and brown glass bottles as easily as it could on a woven store sign. I designed the brand around a central value: reconnection with the past and nature. To honour that, I used TAN Mon Cheri, a delicate and traditional serif typeface with soft curves and high contrast. It’s romantic without being overly feminine and gave the brand a strong, heritage feel that still felt warm and approachable. I developed a soft, earthy colour palette chalk white, deep moss, and warm walnut that would sit naturally on craft packaging, recycled tags, and textured signage. Each element was crafted to align with the store’s ethos: sustainability, quality, and character. Forage & Found is more than a shop it’s a lifestyle and a community hub. The brand needed to whisper authenticity, not shout for attention. This project gave me the chance to bring together all the things I love: typography, sustainability, and designing for people who care about where things come from.
