This project was a bespoke gift commission for a client celebrating their 21st birthday. The aim was to create a photo album that went far beyond a simple collection of pictures. It needed to feel personal, memorable, and worthy of such a milestone.
Using Adobe InDesign, I designed a cohesive layout that balanced clean editorial structure with playful, hand-drawn illustrations woven throughout the pages. These custom elements highlighted inside jokes, friendships, and key life moments, giving the album a personality that reflected the client’s journey.
The result was more than a photo album, it was a narrative driven keepsake, part story, part artwork. By blending photography with illustration and thoughtful design, I created a one of a kind gift that celebrated the client’s identity and captured their 21 years in a way that felt timeless and meaningful.
